Important Information for 2025 Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival Ticket Holders
When is the 2025 Exeter Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival?
The 2024 Exeter Powder Keg Beer Festival will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, with one session and a bonus VIP session option.
How much are the tickets?
General Admission tickets are $45 ($55 if purchased on 10/5) and include an Exeter Powder Keg Beer Fest commemorative tasting cup, unlimited beer & chili samples, and live entertainment. While we aim to provide an exceptional experience featuring craft beverages and a variety of chili options, please note that chili availability is determined by the participating vendors and may vary throughout the event. We encourage you to enjoy the wide selection of beverages and other festival offerings, but chili samples are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed.
Chili Only/DD tickets for those who don’t or cannot drink any alcohol are available for $10 ($15 at the door). These tickets include entrance to the festival, unlimited chili samples, and live entertainment (no alcohol).
Kids older than 5 years old are $15, and kids 5 years old or under get in for free.
All tickets are non-refundable.
Do you accept credit cards or checks?
Tickets may only be purchased online and only with a major credit card.
Some on-site vendors may accept cash only.
Can I get my ticket in advance?
Yes! Purchasing your ticket in advance is highly recommended as a limited number is available. If any tickets are still available on the day of the festival, they can be purchased via the online app at the gate.
What is the “Competition Zone”?
Breweries in the Competition Zone will compete for People’s Choice of best beer. This is the same zone that will have the chili competition.
What should I bring?
Bring your ID if you plan on sampling beer. You must be 21 years of age or older and provide a valid driver's license, current passport, DMV Identification card, or military card.
Feel free to bring folding chairs and blankets for seating on the grass. Don't forget your camera to capture memories at the festival.
Bring cash for purchasing water/soda and food from the trucks.
What shouldn't I bring?
Pets are not allowed inside the festival.
Cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, and cigars are not allowed inside the festival.
No coolers or backpacks will be allowed.
What about food?
In addition to chili samples, there will be food trucks on-site selling food for purchase.
Will there be non-alcoholic beverages served at the festival?
Yes, sodas and water will be available for purchase at the festival.
Where can I find parking?
The Festival Entrance to Swasey Parkway is on Water Street. There is free on-street parking in downtown.
Free parking is also available in the municipal lot near the police station.
Additional parking is available at Main St School and Lincoln Street School.
Please use a designated driver and consider your safety. If you need a cab, festival staff or volunteers can assist you.
What accommodations are there local to Exeter, NH?
How else can I get to Exeter?
Exeter is accessible via the Downeaster Train from Boston or Portland. The festival is a short walk from the train station.
Is there a rain date?
No, the Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival is a rain-or-shine event.
